Small Turkish buildings
We have some sort of art in our garden. The artist name is Jan-Erik Svennberg.
His garden is full of buildings and if you come to Sweden and Sala he will show you around.
This is Jan-Erik and my daughter Ella and the little cat Conny. To answer a common question:
-No we are not muslims, we just like the buildings...

Veranda 2
Here is the veranda from outside, its 25 m2 big and many people think it looks like its has been there for ever. That makes us glad, because we wanted it to fit in to the house.
It wasnt so expensive to build it about 150000 SKK for all, and we think the value on the house has increase with the same amount.
It was some busy days with the carpenders with all the big and small decitions.
We are very happy to have it today, a lot of sun comes into the house.

Greenhouse
Our greenhouse is what many peolpe dreamt about. Its a wooden and rather big greenhouse with
tomatoes, cucumber, geraniums and grapes. Half is for production to my garden-center and half is for recreation and fresh vegetables to the kitchen. Its an old greenhouse and I want to tell you how we did when we pick it down and then raised it at out houselot. We needed a lot of power to act to do this, but now its there, and it was worth every minute. Follow my blog and we will give you the process from the beginning.
Our favorite room
Some years ago we built a veranda on our house. It´s an varm veranda with glass all around it allows a lot of light into the house, we spend a lot of time there. But when we built it we got a lot of nice ideas for interior and I will tell you more about that from time to time on this blog. At first I want to show you the doors we put inside the verandah. The windows and the doors are coming from a very old verandah, and we got the fortune to find it and it was for sale. Its coloured and grid glaases and very baeutiful. As you can see we painted the windows in the same colour as the strips but then we thought the door was so nice itself so its original.
Tablesilver and roses
I found some good tablesilver and some silverbrushes on the fleamarket last onesday.
These things often lays in boxes and has turn black because nobody cares about them.
They have a lovely shiny look and you can make some fantastic still life of them.
The little crochet cloth is handmade and also that from the fleamarket, only 2 SKK.
The old women who make such wonerful art soon doesnt exist anymore.
Old glasstins
Our grandparents sometimes has old glasstins in the cellar and they doesnt think they can be used to anything anymore.
I dont think anyone would like to start preserv food in them again, but they are lovely to put other things in, ex. teabags, dried fruit, candy or herbals and other dried provisions. Flea market often has these glasstins and you has to put them together with right rubber-rings and holder. Some of them comes from old Swedish glassworks like Kosta and Boda.
